At least 100 new years will be added in the coming year by SNT Media based in Wichita, Kansas.
The 5-year old company announced plans to more than double the current workforce of 80 employees over the next 12 months.
“We are solidly operationalizing here in Wichita,” said Tonya Witherspoon, a spokeswoman for the company that moved from California in 2015. “We could have another office in New York and another in Los Angeles easily, but we are choosing to be here.”
Witherspoon said the goal is to have at least 50 of the workers on board by the end of 2016 and work is underway in renovating added floors of the High Touch downtown building where the company is housed.
SNT partners with some of the largest media companies in the U.S. and brands itself as an advanced digital publishing platform working to develop products that carry financial, sports and real estate content gathered from thousands of data sources, according to a report in the Wichita Eagle.
