Heavy rains, 75 mile an hour winds and golf-ball sized hail are in the forecast for Tuesday across many areas of the state, according to News 9 meteorologist Jed Castles.
Tuesday has an 80% chance of storms throughout the day and the storms are in the forecast for the remainder of the week. The high today will be 81.
On Wednesday, the forecast includes another day of 80% chance of storms with a high of 75. Thursday’s forecast includes a 60% chance of rain, storms and the threat of hail and strong winds.
On Friday, there will remain a 40% chance of storms and rain and on Saturday, there will still be a 30% chance of storms.
As for the threat of tornadoes, it remains “very low,” according to Castles.
