WTI, Brent Post Settlement Increases on Friday

U.S. oil futures settled higher on Friday as investors remained concerned about oil inventories, according to Bloomberg MarketWatch. Oil and gas rig counts in Oklahoma and the U.S. moved upward slightly in the past week with the state’s count growing by one to 60 and the nation adding one to hit 463, according to figures from Baker Hughes Co. of Houston, Texas. Ethanol production in the U.S. dropped last week from the previous week’s historic high.
