The Oklahoma Corporation Commission is planning another continuing education program later this month focusing on formation evaluation.
Iain Pirie, a Principal Petrophysicist with Schlumberger will make a presentation regarding formation evaluation based on well logs and other evaluation technology. He will also address how the scope of formation evaluation has expanded to aid in the drilling and stimulation processes, according to the agenda posted for the Oct. 28 meeting of the commission.
The presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. in room 301 of the Jim Thorpe Building.
