Oklahoma City-based Gulfport Energy Corporation announced Thursday that Keri Crowell has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer effective January 4, 2017, according to a company press release. Crowell replaces Aaron Gaydosik, who is resigning to pursue an outside business opportunity.

“Keri has been a key contributor to Gulfport’s success during her 11-year tenure and has established herself as an impactful leader among our team,” said Michael G. Crowell joined Gulfport in October of 2005 as Assistant Controller. She was promoted to Controller in March 2006 and became a Vice President in April 2014. Crowell has served as Chief Accounting Officer since September 2015. Prior to her service at Gulfport, Crowell held various accounting and/or audit roles at Ernst and Young LLP, Arthur Andersen LLP and an Oklahoma City-based accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Oklahoma State University. Crowell is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International, serving as a board member and treasurer of the FEI Oklahoma City chapter from 2012 until 2014.

“On behalf of the Gulfport team, I would like to thank Aaron for his contributions to our Company and wish him the very best in his new endeavors,” said Moore.
