The latest group to target Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt and his nomination by Donald Trump to head the Environmental Protection Agency is spending six figures in an online and TV ad campaign against him.

Clean Air Moms Action is urging senators to vote against Pruitt’s confirmation and is running ads in Florida, Maine, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and the District of Columbia.

The ad focuses on Pruitt’s taking of contributions from the oil and gas industry and his public questioning whether mercury poses public health hazards.

Hawaii’s Democratic U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz is campaigning against Pruitt as well, tweeting this week, “The EPA is in charge of clean air for America. We must not have a professional climate denier in charge. This is an emergency.”
