Clean Power Plan to Bite the Dust at the White House

President Trump is set to eliminate another climate change move of the Obama administration. He is preparing to sign an executive order on Tuesday wiping out the Clean Power Plan and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt welcomes the move.

It’s what Pruitt indicated Sunday in an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week.” He called it a move by President Trump to keep a promise to American voters to bring back coal mining jobs and also reduce the cost of electricity to consumers.

In the same interview, Pruitt called the Paris climate accord a “bad deal,” claiming it was too easy on China and India who are considered to be the world’s leading producers of carbon dioxide.
