Maybe U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine of Tulsa is about to get the job he wants—-Administrator of NASA.
He recently underwent a second interview with the Trump administration which is considering him to be the top man at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
“It went well, but I have not had anything offered,” he told the Tulsa World.
The paper reports he is a front-runner for the job. And as OK Energy Today reported in March, Bridenstine was considered a prime applicant as far back as late December.
During an appearance before the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, some members wished him luck in landing the job. Bridenstine is a former Navy pilot and was director of Tulsa’s Air and Space Museum before being elected to Congress.
He has been a strong advocate of improved funding for space exploration.
