Rep. Mullin Boasts of Rollbacks Approved by Congress

Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin admits Congress did not pass health care reform, but he pointed to $50 billion in rolled-back regulations during a speech this week at a Tulsa Regional Chamber Congressional Forum.

“If you look at the amount of legislation we’ve passed, it’s been one of the most productive sessions ever,” maintained Mullin, according to the Tulsa World.

He asked the question whether the news media ever discusses the billions in regulations rolled back by the House and Senate. The Republican Representative also predicted that Democrats in the U.S. Senate will allow more bills to come to the floor as long as Obamacare is not up for debate.
