Evergy sent back to drawing board over proposed solar farm near Topeka

Evergy saw one of its requests for a solar farm in Shawnee County sent back to the planning commission with additional questions.

Plans by Evergy, the largest utility in Kansas, to build a huge solar farm near Topeka are being sent back to the drawing board following public opposition by residents near the proposed site.

Some of the residents expressed their concerns of the 7,000 panel solar farm to Shawnee County Commissioners according to the Topeka Capital Journal.Click here for Capital Journal
