While the average residential customer will be forced to pay another $19 a month if Oklahoma Gas and Electric wins approval of its $332 million rate hike request, it’s nothing compared to what one businessman will pay.
The Oklahoman reported over the weekend that the 13.85% increase on property manager Rick Dowell’s operations will soar to nearly $838,000. Just four years ago, his properties had $736,000 in electricity costs.
