Ground has been broken on a more than $1 billion solar farm under construction in West Texas and once it is completed, it will be one of the largest such farms in North America.
The 815 MW Sequoia Solar project is under development by Enbridge, a Calgary, Alberta-based enery provider. The farm is expected to come online in the first phase at the end of 2025 and the second phase a year later.
