A new report shows the oil and gas industry paid the highest U.S. wages in 2024 with an annual average of more than $227,000.
The State of Energy report by the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association showed it was an increase of $4.389 from 2023. The Crude Petroleum Extraction division was $222,691 in 2023 reported RigZone.com.
