How’s this for a shift in a state’s anti-oil and gas policies and views?
California is stepping in to find a buyer for Valero Energy’s Benicia refinery near San Francisco. It’s trying to save the refinery in a move reflective of its concerns over protecting gasoline supplies. After alll, California has some of the highest gasoline prices in the country.
The move also marks a shift in the policies of the state that has applied so much effort toward green energy and against fossile fuel.
