The breakdown included a gain of one rig in the Granite Wash play of the state where the count is now 20 rigs, whether it is oil or gas or miscellaneous.
The GW is now tied with the Cana Woodford for active rigs. The Cana was unchanged from last week, based on the latest Baker Hughes Rig Count.
Oklahoma’s Ardmore Woodford was unchanged with 2 active rigs and the Arkoma Woodford went another week with just one active rig. The Mississippian also went another week with no recorded drilling activity, based on the Baker Hughes report.
