The Oklahoma State legislature’s close to approving a measure to consolidate the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission with the Grand River Dam Authority. Senate Bill 1388 was not approved Tuesday in a State House vote but supporters believe it will eventually win approval.
“We’re going to bounce back from this better and stronger than ever,” promised John L. Larson, a former member of the Scenic Rivers Commission.
