One of the completion reports filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in the past few days involved a Continental Resources well with production of more than 2,500 barrels of oil a day.
The company filed an amended report on the Lookabaugh 2-25-24xhm well located 3 miles northeast of the Greenfield community in Blaine County (36 15N 11W). The amendment involved the surface location of the well that had an April 2018 spud date. Completion was made in September of last year and showed oil production of 2,547 barrels a day along with 8,418 Mcf of natural gas.
