New producers reported in Oklahoma’s STACK play

Nearly 2,400 barrels of oil a day were reported as the combined production of two single-pad wells in Canadian County.

Ovintiv Inc., in reports filed this week with Oklahoma regulators said the Peters 1407 4h-15x, located at 15 14N 7W, a site about 3 miles southeast of Okarche, had initial production of 1,375 barrels of oil a day and 1,076 Mcf of natural gas when completed in January. Drilling depth was 19,517 feet in the Mississippian formation following a May 2021 spud date according to the completion report.

The sister well, the Peters 1407 5h-15x, drilled at a depth of 19,935 feet, produced 1,013 barrels of oil a day and 1,048 Mcf of natural gas. It too had a May 2021 spud date stated the completion report.

Hinkle Oil & Gas in Oklahoma City filed completion reports on five Kingfisher County wells with combined production of nearly 1,700 barrels of oil a day. The wells were in a region west of the town of Crescent with two on a single pad.

The Lincoln North Unit 11-3ho, 27 18N 5W , was completed in June of this year and had production of 316 barrels of oil a day and 753 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was 11,635 feet in the Oswego formation following a May 2022 spud date according to the completion report.

The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 77-3ho, 28 17N 5W, produced 101 barrels of oil a day along with 108 Mcf of natural gas when completed in May from a drilled depth of 11,589 feet. Its spud date was only 20 days earlier.

The Lincoln North Unit 82-4ho, 33 18N 5W , produced 514 barrels of oil a day and 615 Mcf of natural gas when completed in June from a drilled depth of 12,111 feet. The report revealed a May spud date.

The two wells on a single pad, Lincoln North Unit 113-3ho, 12 17N 6W , had combined production of 763 barrels of oil a day. The Lincoln North Unit 113-3ho produced 293 barrels of oil a day and 259 Mcf of natural gas when completed in June. Completion was made at a depth of 14,318 feet.

The Lincoln North Unit 127-2ho was completed in May at a depth of 11,653 feet and produced 470 barrels of oil a day and 414 Mcf of natural gas. It had a late April spud date.

Ovintiv filed completions on four Kingfisher County wells. Two on a single pad at 9 15N 7W, two miles south of the city of Kingfisher combined for nearly 1,300 barrels of oil a day.

The Rpm 1507 3h-16x, completed in February of this year at a depth of 18,760 feet produced 672 barrels of oil a day and 1,092 Mcf of natural gas. It had a June 2021 spud date. The Rpm 1507 2h-16x, completed in February at a depth of 18,963 produced 598 barrels of oil a day and 208 Mcf of natural gas. It also was spudded in June of last year.

Ovintiv had two other single-day wells with about 1,200 barrels of a oil a day in combined production.

The Church 1606 3h-17x, 17 16N 6W , three miles east of Kingfisher produced 503 barrels of oil a day and 1,283 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 18,220 feet following a spud date in August 2021 according to the completion report.

The Jade 1606 3h-5x, spudded in August 2021 was completed in February with production of 698 barrels of oil a day and 739 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 17,42 feet.
