Thanks to the strength of oil and gas revenue, New Mexico legislators saw another increase in the amount of funds they will have to create a new state budget.
The New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee released its Consensus Revenue Estimate for fiscal year 2024 which begins July 1, 2023. The projected revenue for Fiscal Year 2024 is $11.994 billion reported The New Mexico Political Report.
