Yelloh, formerly Schwans is closing Oklahoma operations

Remember Schwan’s, the frozen foods home delivery company?

After changing its name to Yelloh, the company revealed this week the closure of operations in Oklahoma City, Lawton, Wagner and Tulsa.

Known as Cygnus Home Service, LLC, the company informed the Oklahoma Office of Workforce Development is “closing facilities and ceasing operations in the state of Oklahoma.”

The Minnesota-based company owned by the Schwan family sold a 70% share of its business in 2018 to Korean firm CJ CheilJedang in a $1.8 billion deal. It maintained the Schwan’s Home Delivery business and rebranded it a year ago.

In recent weeks, the company also announced the shutdown of operations in Washington state.

The WARN Act letter to Oklahoma stated the operations to be closed effective December 15, 2023 are:

9207 SW Koch Street
Lawton, OK 73505

9720 Pole Road
Oklahoma City, OK 73149

9567 N. Ridgeway Street
Tulsa, OK 74131

305 SW 15th Street
Wagoner, OK 74467

The WARN notice indicated the closures are permanent but did not reveal the total number of layoffs.
